The community’s expressed needs for renovation
CAN ALL BE ADDRESSED WITHOUT CLOSING THE PARK AT ALL,
WHILE KEEPING IT PUBLICLY FUNDED AND CONTROLLED, by:
· Using the $6.8 million in funding already on hand
· Renovating and improving the public bathrooms
· Repairing the paths and central fountain
· Enlarging the north east playground
· Enlarging the small dog run in its current location and adding water access
· Rebuilding the large dog run in its current location,
providing proper drainage and better surfacing
· Restoring the mounds area as a play space for older children
